An exponent of Eindhoven’s (NL) industrial outskirts, DJ/producer Youri Jozee’s music is as gritty and raw as the city he lives in. His multifaceted studio output and DJ sets are inspired by the atmosphere of vibrant city life, hedonism and –strangely enough- public transportation. Never one to limit himself to a single genre, his mixes and productions often incorporate elements of electro, acid and techno.
A lifelong aficionado of all things electronic, Youri has been involved with electronic music for pretty much most of his life: When he’s not on studio lockdown, Youri can be found DJing across the nation and doing press stuff for DJ’s, record labels and electronic music platforms. In 2015, he released the ‘Everything Is Illuminated’ EP on Houzework Music, an homage to things that occur after nightfall.
